Our Eighth Annual Angel Walk–one of the school’s largest fundraisers–will be held on Friday, Oct. 13. We thank Wheeling Jesuit University for once again sponsoring this annual event and for serving as the host site for this special event!
Monday, September 11, students will be receiving their Angel Walk envelopes. The envelope will be in your youngest child’s folder. For the many families that are new to our school, the envelope contains a letter about the Angel Walk and instructions for how you may help us make this a success for our school.
As we have done in the past, we are asking each family to complete 12 Request for Sponsorship mailers and return them to the school by Friday, September 22. The school will provide the postage and then send the mailers out to the potential sponsors. Also, please make sure to complete the Parent Sponsorship Form as well as the T-shirt and Volunteer Form.
As you may know, the key to the Angel Walk’s success is the involvement of our entire St. Michael’s community–students, parents, teachers, staff, parish leaders, family, friends, parishioners, alumni, and corporate sponsors. It is undoubtedly a FUN event for everyone!
If you’d like to volunteer in any capacity (pre-event work, event stations, or post-event clean-up), we would certainly welcome and appreciate the help. Please contact Shandi Nodurft to sign-up or indicate your willingness on the Volunteer Form in the Angel Walk envelope.
If your employer would be interested in serving as an Angel Walk Corporate Sponsor, please contact Mrs. Nodruft as soon as possible. All sponsors at the Gold Level ($500 and up) will have their business name/logo printed on our Angel Walk t-shirts worn by all SMPS students at the event. Extra Angel Walk t-shirts in adult sizes will also be sold at the event.
