Congratulations 2018 Aquinas Winner

Eighth grader Elizabeth Wolf has been chosen as St. Michael’s 2018 Aquinas Medal Winner, which is the highest award a student can receive from the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
Through the Aquinas Medal award, the diocese recognizes one student from each school at the highest academic grade level who embodies the qualities they seek to instill in them. The Medal is not intended as strictly an academic recognition but “to make visible those young people in our schools who embody the spirit of the school’s mission and the philosophy of Catholic school education.”
Elizabeth will receive her award at the Bishop’s Dinner for Catholic Schools to be held on Sunday, April 22 in Morgantown.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Ed and Adriana Wolf of Wheeling. Congratulations to Elizabeth and the Wolf family on this wonderful honor!
