St. Michael Parish School is accepting applications for a part-time Elementary and Middle School Music Teacher.

We seek a passionate and committed individual who will value the mission of a Catholic education and who can help nurture both the intellectual and spiritual development of our students. Applicants should be committed to creating engaging and supportive learning experiences for our students across the school.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in music education or related field
• Valid teaching certification or be actively pursuing certification/licensure
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting
• Strong classroom management, communication skills and curriculum development skills
• Willingness to support the mission and values of a Catholic educational institution
• Fluency in piano preferred but not required
• Should be willing to discuss extra curricular activities such as middle school choir and participation in a spring musical
